See Some Amazing Creations 11/02/2010
For me, it's a day to day neccesity to surround myself with new and interesting creative work. That's why I have a subscription to Computer Arts, that's why my bookmarks menu is flooded with scores of portfolios and blog of new creative material. But for someone that thinks in the back of their mind that they should look at some nice things from time to time to inspire or intrigue them, it can be daunting. So I offer you a "starter pack" if you like of some of my current favourite producers of inspirational work. They work in different fields so I hope you find something that piques your interest. Alex TrochutAlex Trochut is a commercial illustrator that's worked for some really big name brands such as Nike and Wired Magazine. He's a really great talent to take a look at. LapinLapin is a less prominent illustrator with a great delicate and indie style, really interesting and inspiration stuff. Don't worry about the french, it's a fairly simple set. Federico BebberFederico Bebber has always been a pet favourite of mine. He's a photographer and image manipulator that comes up with a predictable but striking style with a really polished set of work. `GeneratingHypeGeneratingHype was a DeviantART user and the reason he doesn't have a picture preview is that he was a writer. He produced poetry and short prose woven beautifully. The reason I speak in the past tense is GeneratingHype recently died of cancer, and the last piece he ever wrote painfully but beautifully reflects upon his condition so if you read nothing else, read Inviticus.
